My Bio
Olayinka Afolayan was born in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria on 9th April 1973. Yinka graduated with a B Sc degree in Computer Science in 2000 from the University of Abuja, Federal Capital Territory in 2000. She obtained the CISCO certificates in Hardware maintenance and networking from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 2004.
My Expertise
Mrs Afolayan is the brain behind Money Matter for Kids (MM4K), a financial literacy programme developed by her and thought to youths and women of various ages in Nigeria under the sponsorship of United Bank for Africa (UBA). She is the owner of the trade name ‘MONEY MATTERS’ in Nigeria. An erudite reader and public speaker, Yinka has thought severally on how to implement money management skills and strategies and has thus helped improve financial literacy among women of all ages. Before joining Segun Aremu & Co, Yinka has worked in the Information Technology and Human Resource Department and Training departments of Eternal Union Limited and Soft Consult Computers. Her last position was an Executive Director, Training, Research and Development of Eternal Union Limited. Olayinka is dedicated and committed to seeing others, especially women become educated and empowered in the area of finances. She is currently the Director, Training and Manpower Development at Segun Aremu & Co.
A veteran public speaker, Olayinka Afolayan’s post-graduation working experience spans over 19 years in Consulting, Computer networking, software and hardware design and management, capacity building/human resource management and public speaking. Olayinka is married with kids.
